A message from Ben
& Tara Winchester
To put it
bluntly, we don’t want any more stuff. In lieu of gifts, we are asking you to
honor our union by donating to a cause that is near and dear to our hearts. In
2005, our friends Brian and Kate Hanson lost their infant son, Benjamin, to a
rare lymphatic disorder. To celebrate his short life and to provide hope for
other families facing pre-natal challenges, Ben’s Buddies was created to raise
money for the Benjamin Walker Hanson Neonatology Fund. This endowment fund
supports research and education at the University of Minnesota Division of
Neonatology.
Here’s where you all come in. We
would like you to think about
how much you would have spent
traveling to our wedding,
staying overnight, drinking, and
buying a gift. Add up these
numbers and go to the Ben’s
Buddies website (see below) to
donate this amount (or more!).
You may also send checks
directly to us and we will pass
them on to Brian and Kate -
please make the checks out to
Ben’s Buddies. These donations
are tax deductible. Thank you
for helping us support this most
meaningful cause.
